Door slamming Empty
PostSubject: Door slamming   Door slamming Icon_minitimeMon Jan 04, 2010 1:16 am

Hi everyone,

I live in a unit right next to a stairwell. One of the entry doors has lost it spring/cushion and slams so hard that it bounces back and is very loud. This is very annoying for us and it will also cause damage to the door and surrounding walls and hinges over time. The easiest remedy is for people who are entering the doors to use their hand to grasp the push bar and guide the door shut. There is no need to swing the door wide open and let it slam hard behind you! There is a need for signage to notify residents to be more considerate when opening and closing doors. Thank you.
